Local Option Sales Tax Application
Boone County is inviting Local Option Sales Tax grant funding requests from registered non-profit entities providing community betterment services across Boone County.
Grant selection criteria will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serving needs of the most Boone County residents
- Matching funds from other entities included
- Efficient use of grant funding
- Use for other than administrative expenses
Applications can be submitted to the Boone County Auditor’s office, 2nd floor Boone County Courthouse, 201 State Street, Boone, IA 50036. Application deadline is December 31, 2024. Approved funding will be distributed beginning 7/1/25.
