Driver's License County Convenience Fee

County Convenience Fee

July 1, 2023 legislation was passed to allow county DL locations to begin collecting a $10 convenience fee for Driver's License or State ID transactions completed for customers that are not residents of the county in which they’re being served. 

Starting September 1, 2023 Boone County will charge the $10 convenience fee for non residents of the county.
