Gravel hauling to begin from Lowman Pit approximately the first week of May

Boone County's annual contract gravel hauling operations will commence at the Lowman Pit south Moingona approximately the first week of May.  The hours of operation for gravel crushing and hauling are Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During these operations, heavy truck traffic will be occurring on 240th St. from Moingona Road to L Ave. (Co. Road R-18).  Weather permitting, the duration of the operations should be about 8-12 days.
