Notice of Intent to sell property owned by Boone County pursuant to Iowa Code 331.361

For Sale Parcel #088226042300004- 8.27 Acres more or less owned by Boone County legally described as “Lot A of Government Lot 2 in SW ¼ NW ¼ in Section 4, Township 82 N, Range 26 W of the 5th P.M. Boone County, Iowa, as shown on Plat of Survey recorder in Book 19 Page 138 in the Boone County Recorder’s Office.” Sealed bids for property will be accepted until April 24, 2024. Bids will then be opened at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the Boone County Courthouse and bidders will be allowed to raise their bids, with an auction to follow. A minimum bid of $30,000 is required and the successful bidder will put $2000 down and sign a real estate contract prepared by the Boone County Attorney. Possession and closing will be on or before May 30, 2024. Boone County reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.
