In the fall of 1963 the plans for the Don Williams Golf Course were submitted to the Board and the nine hole golf course opened on July 4, 1965. The old clubhouse was opened for the golf season in 1966 and the current clubhouse opened in April of 2026.
Boating
Don Williams (150 acres) is a no-wake lake and offers two boat ramps and dock access for those with watercraft.
We do offer Dock Rental for pontoons from April 15 - October 15. Please call our Park Office at 515-353-4237 for availability.
