Education

Learn about educational programs offered by the Boone County Conservation Board.

A vital part of the Boone County Conservation Board’s mission is to provide recreation and education for the current and future generations. Environmental education and outdoor recreation not only provide physical and mental stimulation, they allow for a strengthening of the bond that humans have with the earth. The Boone County Conservation Board offers knowledge and tools to link us back to the earth.

The naturalist and staff at BCCB will do everything possible to enhance children and adults of all ages experience’s with nature. We provide programs for the public, school groups of all levels, and private parties.

Almost all of the programs offered by BCCB are free or have a very minimal cost. You should schedule a program at least 2 weeks in advance (the earlier the better, spring and fall months fill fast!). Remember recreation and education does not have to be subject to the warm season. We can play all year!
