Sheriff Sales

Sheriff's Sales are on foreclosed properties and are generally held on Tuesdays starting at 10:00 a.m. in the front lobby of the Sheriff's office located at 1019 West Mamie Eisenhower Ave.

Buyer Beware

Sheriff’s Sales are buyer beware. It is highly recommended you contact an attorney before purchasing a property at Sheriff’s Sale to make sure you are purchasing what you think you are and to answer any legal questions you may have.  We have no information on the property other than what is in the Notice of Levy.  You need to do your own research.

Bidding

If you are interested in bidding on a property you must bring with you a Letter of Guarantee from the bank you are using to finance the property stating the dollar amount you are preapproved to spend.   

Payment

If you are the successful bidder on a property and have the Letter of Guarantee, you will be allowed until 3:00 p.m. that same day to obtain a Cashier's Check for the full amount bid.
